Course Information
Description A study of components, applications, and installation of mechanical air conditioning systems including operating conditions, troubleshooting, repair, and charging of air conditioning systems.
Prerequisites None
Learning Outcomes Students will demonstrate environmental safety practices.
Students will troubleshoot, service, and repair air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems.
Students will perform technician duties safely.
Students will work effectively as a team member.

Instructor Policies Grades may be discussed in person before or after class, or through email.
Attendance Policy 1. Tardiness: Every other tardy will result in 1 class day being considered absent.
2. Absences: Absences may be excuse within reason. Being in class is essential for your college success and the
safety of not only yourself, but others around you due to missing safety briefings.
5 Absences = drop 1 letter grade.
7 Absences = drop 2 letter grades.
9 Absences = drop 3 letter grades.
11 Absences = Letter grade of F.
